It's Rajini and Dhanush all the way!

The 58th National awards have just been announced and many artists from the Tamil industry have been declared winners. Aadukalam had a very good showing, picking up six awards. Vetrimaaran was given awards for best direction and best screenplay and Dhanush was adjudged the best actor for his inspired performance. The film also picked up an award for best choreography by Dinesh. Endhiran also impressed scooping up three awards for special effects, art direction, and production. Saranya Ponvannan received an award for her turn in Thenmerku Paruvakattru and Vairamuthu, got an award for his lyrics in the same movie. Thambi Ramiah won in the best supporting actor category for his delightful role in Mynaa. Our hearty congratulations to the winners, you have made us proud!
