New Delhi: The 58th National Awards were announced on Thursday. Malayalam movie Aadaminte Makan Abu won the best film award, Salim Kumar won the best actor award for the same film.
- Tamil actor Dhanush is sharing the best actor award with Salim Kumar. Dhanush won the award for his performance in Aadukalam.

- Marathi actress Mitalee Jagtap Paradhar and Tamil cinema's Saranya won the National Award for best actress for their performances in the movies Baboo Band Baaja and Thenmerku Paruvakkaatru respectively
